South India positive network is basically
established for the welfare of the HIV infected Men, women,
children and their affected family members. Our main focus
aimed at treatment for opportunistic infections, an Anti
retro viral treatment, counseling, family support and
services.
So far more than five hundred positive members enrolled
and getting all the extraordinary services through the
network. Psychosocial support for infected as well as
affected persons provided by the Peer counselors in a
conducive environment and details are kept confidentially.
All the cases or closely followed up and necessary services
given according to the need and urgency of the problem.
Round the clock service facilities are voluntarily provided
for treatment reference, admission, emergency and funeral
cases.
Employment opportunities are given for infected persons
in a stage of loss of job due to his or her HIV status,
for affected persons who is the bread winner of the affected
family. periodical employment opportunities provided for
infected female members through the nutritional powder
making unit. AIDS orphaned children are maintained in
a special care home.
